Terms of Service
By using beavr (https://beavrxyz.netlify.app) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are written in plain English; if any part is unclear, that is a defect — please raise it through the contact method listed in section 9.
1. What the site is
beavr is a collection of small, single-purpose, browser-only tools. You may use them without creating an account. The tools run in your browser; your inputs are not uploaded to our servers. Some pages display advertising served by third-party networks; see section 6 and the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or such higher age as your jurisdiction requires) to use this site. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the site to violate the rights of any other person, including copyright, privacy, contractual, or other legal rights.
- Attempt to disrupt the site, its hosting, or any third-party service it relies on (including the ad network), including by denial-of-service, automated scraping at a rate that exceeds reasonable personal use, or attempts to bypass any technical safeguard.
- Use the site to generate content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction (for example, content that infringes intellectual property, defames a person, or constitutes harassment).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the site in order to build a directly competing product.
- Use any tool on this site in connection with the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation, life-support systems, or any other use where the failure of the tool could reasonably be expected to cause death or serious injury.
4. Intellectual property
The site code, design, brand assets, and copy are owned by the site operator (Marcello) and released under the MIT License for the source code (see the project repository). The visual design and the brand mark are not separately licensed for reuse without permission.
The output of any tool — for example, a UUID, a password, a formatted JSON document, or a contrast-check result — is yours. We claim no rights over output you generate, and you may use it for any lawful purpose without attribution.
Where a tool incorporates a third-party library (such as
marked for Markdown rendering or
qrcode-svg for QR code generation), that library
remains under its own licence. Licence notices are included in
the project repository.
5. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We try to keep the tools accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that any particular output is correct, suitable for your purpose, or free of defects. Use the outputs at your own risk.
In particular, cryptographic outputs (passwords, hashes, UUIDs) should be independently verified before being relied upon for security-sensitive purposes. The site is not a substitute for professional cryptographic, legal, financial, or medical advice.
6. Third-party services
Some pages on this site display advertising served by Google AdSense. Your interactions with those ads are governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy, not by these terms. The full description of what data AdSense collects and how to control it is in our Privacy Policy.
We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content of any third-party advertisement or any product or service offered through an advertisement. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is between you and the advertiser, not with us.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator, its contributors, and its hosting providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the site.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to the site and to these terms
We may add, remove, modify, or discontinue any tool at any time without notice. If a change materially affects you, the most we commit to doing is keeping the affected URL working (with a redirect where reasonable) for a period of at least 90 days.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a material change indicates acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the updated terms, your remedy is to stop using the site.
9. Contact
Questions or concerns about these terms can be sent through the contact form linked from the home page. We do not publish a direct email address on this site; the contact form is the official channel for all legal correspondence.
Operator: Marcello. Country of operation: IT. Year founded: 2026.
10. Severability and governing law
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of business, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory protection you have under the mandatory law of your own jurisdiction.
